One of the trends we're seeing a lot of lately is the simply elegant table runner. With long, rectangular tables quickly becoming a wedding must-have for the garden-style bride, greenery runners are everything. Usually we start with a base of greenery, like our go-tos: silver dollar eucalyptus, bay laurel and magnolia. From there we build with florals, where the individual style of each event really shines. Sweet, ivory spray roses can be sprinkled throughout for a soft, romantic look; succulents and protea can be placed along the runner to bring in that Texas Hill Country vibe; dahlias and luscious garden roses can be cut and sprinkled down the table for an elegant take on a textured runner. And the best way to have fun with your runner....candles! Pillar candles are a great way to fill out the runner, adding bulk to the look and emitting that stunning candlelit glow that our clients LOVE. Taper candles add undisputed elegance and romantic drama to any tablescape. And smatterings of votives in all shapes, sizes and colors add that beautiful sparkle. Whether you go candle crazy, bloom heavy, or opt for simplistic greenery- long table runners are all the rage, and we are totally digging this trend.
